Lost Dog / Whippet Mix Near Cedar Lake Lane in Loveland, OH
I need help in finding my dog. His name is Hilo, he looks to be a whippet mix, and is very thin. He’s not malnourished, just a very thin build. I am not sure of his breed but he is blonde, shorthaired; stands about thigh high to a 6-foot person.
He was last seen running out of my home on Cedar Lake Lane in Loveland.
He ran off going northbound close to US 28. We’ve been to the local shelters many times and still have not turned him up.
He was wearing a collar, which was blue, and it has a phone number and his name on it. The phone on the collar does not work anymore, so it’s important to email if you’ve seen him or if you have him. He was also wearing a Harley Davidson bandana. He’s been missing since the 2nd of October. He has a brother that is missing him very much.
He’s very difficult to feed. He is timid, and scared of most people. He is a P&G rescue, has a serial number tattooed in his left ear.
We really miss him. If you have ANY information or have seen Hilo, please email me: blueangelx2@hotmail.com
I will offer a reward for the return of Hilo.

Lost Dog / Golden Female Dog (Cincinnati, near XU)
I am asking for help in finding a lost dog in the Cincinnati area, near Xavier University off exit 5 on I-71. She followed her dad in his truck as he left the house to go to Home Depot. They just moved to their new house and had only been there for 2 weeks. She and her dad were on the front porch doing some home repairs. She was sitting on the front porch as he left in the truck. She was seen running after him, but it was too late. The family searched for her until 1 in the morning. The mom goes to the local SPCA daily to see if she has been brought in as a stray. So far, she has not ended up there. I am sending this out just in case she has been given to a rescue group or if anyone has seen or heard about her as a stray. I have very few rescue folks that I know in the Cincinnati area, please help if you know of someone in the area.
She's about a 50 pound golden / spitz / collie mutt , fixed, 10 years old. Very sweet and shy, her nose is slightly pink / very light brown. She had just come from the groomers, so she was nicely clipped.

The dog...
Hound mix, medium size (small frame), approx. 42 lbs, reddish brown
color, white chest, white socks on front paws. She's very sweet, but shy

Dog Found In East Walnut Hills Near Wold Avenue
Please contact Ted at tmcconnell@cinci.rr.com to thoroughly identify this lost pet.
------------------------------
What to do if you have found a lost animal...
1. Most Important! Always make someone responding to your ad thoroughly identify the animal.
2. Place a "Found Cat" ad in the Enquirer. "Found" classified ads are free in the Cincinnati Enquirer, call 421-6300.
3. Report the animal to Wildwood Pet Network at wpnpets@aol.com or 513-870-0421.
4. Check out the "Lost" ads in various papers... The Cincinnati Enquirer "Lost & Found" online classifieds
5. Put up flyers in the area you found the cat and maybe a nearby Kroger, Biggs, or WalMart.
6. If you have found a pet, only give out a very general description in your ads or on your flyers. Never use a photo! Never give any specific details. Only reveal the type of pet and the location where it was found. Your ad should be no more specific than this. "Cat found in Springdale area near Showcase Cinema. Please call 555-1212 to thoroughly identify."
7. Many times people who abuse animals or sell them to research facilities respond to "found" or "free to good home" ads to get their victims. Read more... So if you feel suspicious, don't release the animal. Ask for vet records or pictures of the cat in the household as proof.
8. Take him to a vet and see if he has been micro-chipped.

We have talked to ever shelter, vet, groomer, pet store I can find. Below is an alert that I sent out- it has a link to his info but if you see/know anything please call me- I’ll also attach and updated flyer to review as well.
If you don’t mind to re-forward this e-mail to your friends, family or anyone that you think of- the more people that are out there looking for him the better chance I have of getting him back. We are offering a $500 REWARD for any info that will lead us to him…
