OAR Classified Ad / Sable Needs a Home

I am fostering Sable until I can find him a good home.

He is almost entirely black except for a tiny white patch on his chest and some stray white hairs on his underside, so I'm pretty sure he's a Bombay.

He follows me around everywhere and jumps up in my lap (and sometimes my bed) just about any chance he gets.
He has a broken tail, and I'm not sure how old he is, but like I said before, he is not fixed and not declawed yet is very well-behaved and uses the litter box without any problems.

If you are interested in adopting Sable, please contact me at: hyogoetophile@gmail.com

Thanks,
Andrew

OAR Success Story / Jojo

Hello all!

I wanted to write to give you an update on Twinkle-Toes, now Josie-Toes (or just Jojo). She's doing great in her new apartment, which she graciously allows me to stay in, too. There are moments of passionate playing and running which dislodge the bathmat and make the picture frames shake, and plenty of sleeping on every soft surface in the apartment to balance it out! Josie is a real furball, and a pleasure to have curled up behind my knees every night. She likes talking to me and watching the squirrels in the tree outside my window. She had to do some visiting with cousin-cats over the holidays, which she wasn't really a fan of, so I think she'll remain an only child for the foreseeable future. However, after a week or two of hissing, she and Chelsea, the other cat in the picture, were able to sleep in the same room, which was a huge improvement. I think she's definitely glad to be home, though! Having Josie makes coming home to her wonderful after every day. Thank you so much for taking such good care of her before she got here.

Hey, Jos! Are you happy? "Mrrow" My girl is happy.

Thanks again,
Daisy

Buttons the Cat missing from the Mt Healthy / Winton Woods Area

On January 2nd, we moved to the Mt Healthy area and our cat Buttons ran off.

Our current street is Adams Road and Hickman in Mt Healthy, but I still think maybe he could have wandered over by Winton Woods or if he was trying to get back to his turf, Springdale Rd near Corpus Christy Playfield. Maybe even around Marino Dr. behind Taylor Elementary School.

Our old townhouse was at Northgate Meadows Apts. in Northbrook.

If you have any information on Buttons, please contact Michael at 513-979-4544 / johnnysquid67@hotmail.com

OAR Classifieds / Kramer Needs a Home

Kramer is a 5 year old male that has been front declawed and neutered. He is in good health. He recently had a dental exam and did have quite a few teeth pulled, but has no issues from the procedure. He has no behavioral problems at all. He is extremely sweet and loving.

He is very gentle with our son, who is 3, so I know he is good with children. He is the 1st to greet any people that come to the house. He has been an indoor only cat his whole life. He does not like to be picked up, but prefers to jump up on your lap himself. He enjoys playing with toys and the laser pointer. He really is a great cat. I hate that we are having to let him go.

If interested please contact Lisa at LisaK@united-mail.com

OAR Classifieds / Lily Needs a Home

General information- Lily, adult female, small, long haired orange and white, front paw declaw.

Bio- Lily adores people and adores attention.  She is very active and spunky.  She gets along very well with other cats, but is a bit of a dominant personality, especially with female cats.  She would do well with other cats though, especially other males.  Lily DEMANDS your attention and wants lots of it and will purr and love all over you in return.  She is looking for a forever home where she will be worshiped like the little princess that she is.

If interested please contact Kris at greyline18@hotmail.com

OAR Classified / Mitzi and Eddie Need Good Homes

We are looking for homes for two indoor cats.

They are both wonderful pets but need to be adopted separately as they are not friendly with each other.

Mitzi
Mitzi is a female calico, declawed and about 6 yrs-old. She is a beautiful cat, but needs to be an only child. She is a lazy house cat, hides around strangers but would be great in a simple, quite environment, maybe as a companion to someone single or elderly. She is territorial and does not do well with other pets, but is fine flying solo. She seems to be drawn to ladies more than men so a female adopter would be ideal.

Eddie
Eddie is a male tabby who is about 4 yrs old. Still has claws, but rarely uses them unless it’s on a scratching post. Eddie desperately wants a playful companion. Eddie would be an awesome pet if he had a playmate - particularly another male around his age who would befriend him. He also likes to cuddle.

If you are interested in adopting these cats, please contact 513-260-5450 or mdc916@gmail.com. Interested adopter will go through a screening to ensure the right match between cat and adopter.

Thanks,
Matt and Erin
